Kalkan is a picturesque sleepy village by day that sparkles into life at night, it tumbles down to the harbour, alive with gulets and visiting yachts. With a myriad of roof-top restaurants, you can enjoy the excellent Turkish cuisine and a romantic moonlight view over the Bay. Kalkan’s streets are narrow and twisting but not flat, the architecture reflects the varied history with traditional Greek houses covered in bouganvilla. The village is well appointed with shops and 3 supermarkets who will provide a free home delivery service for larger loads (and take you too!). There are English speaking Doctors and Dentists, plus a pharmacy. There are also banks with ATM's and a Post Office within the village.
